Weekend with Bella

Our youngest daughter was Maid of Honor in her best friend's wedding this weekend, and her husband was tasked with the photo and video recording. So, grand-daughter Bella spent the weekend with us! She really is a delight (usually), and not too much trouble at all. Still, we're reminded of the amount of work connected with small children. Yesterday, we took a walk around our mobile home complex, and started collecting flowers, each of which had to be examined and touched, of course. Her yellow shoes have slots in them, so grandpa (me...) started tucking the flowers into her shoes. She was delighted, of course, and we had a colorful collection going by the time we returned home.
